Telekinesis?

Sounds like you may have some abilities. Perhaps you should try intentionally trying to move your energy. Perhaps try turning on or off a light. Let us know what happens.
I never thought of doing that - maybe I'll try as an experiment! Thanks Lynne - I'll report back :D

I worked for many years with machines. I owned a little company and I fixed AC/heaters, appliances, and just about anything in a Home, Restaurant and Motel. It was amazing how many times I would go in and look at say a washer and they would tell me what it was doing or not doing and so I would check it out and find NOTHING wrong with it. This happened so often that I finally added "Appliance Healer" to my business card. It was as if just my "laying on of hands" would fix a machine sometimes. I always told them that if it did it again in the next 6 months to a year that I would come back and not charge them a service call. I don't remember ever having anyone collect on that promise.

Modern machines are so often computer operated that it seems as if they sometimes just get cranky and sick of working. Give them a break and sort of pat them and once they feel appreciated again they will start to work again. I don't know how else to explain it. A machine will not even come on and I walk up to it look at it and mess with the controls and presto!! it works. I didn't even get to open it up and check it out. It always happened some but as the machines become more and more computerized it happened more often.

Back in the days of mechanical watches, I could only wear one for about 6 months and then it would stop. I would put it up and wear another one and in 6 months The other one that had stopped was ready to go again. I used to clean watches and would take them apart and there was nothing mechanically wrong with them.

Theoretically, the parts inside and outside of a watch are not made of magnetically affected metals but that was the only thing that I could think of that I might cause. I can at times make a compass swing around and am not very affected by electrical shock. I used to hunt for a short in wires by running my hand on a wire until I got shocked. LOL, I grabbed a 600-volt wire one time, and other than doing a standing backflip I wasn't hurt at all.

It would have actually been pretty impressive if I had stuck the landing. 6' 2", 250-pound men don't usually do backflips. My helper was pretty impressed and once he was sure that I was fine he fell into hysterical laughter. He thought that it was the funniest thing that he had ever seen.

I have actually tried to develop telekinesis. There have been a few anomalous things but nothing consistent enough to be meaningful. I often used dice both for telekinesis and precognition. I once rolled 12, two sixes, 12 times in a row. that was exciting and statistically close to impossible. BUT I have never come close to repeating it! I have also rolled them under a cup that I couldn't see through and tried to predict their number and do a lot better at that with better consistency.

I can beat some of the machines in a casino 100% of the time. I figured it out one time and if I would play for 10 hours a day 6 days a week I could generally beat minimum wage. That doesn't sound good but most people only will occasionally win a little bit but in general, lose all of their money. I wouldn't spend 10 hours in a casino for ONE day for ten times what I can win. The flashing lights, loud noise and people smoking puts me down with a near migraine headache and blocked sinuses after about 3 or 4 hours.

A couple of you will have read this before in a prior thread, tucked away somewhere else. I thought it might be good to give it an airing here and see what ppl think!

I don't think I'm a SLider but I did once have a strange experience with a VHS device.

I was around 20 years old and was watching the film The Serpent And The Rainbow with my parents. We had been watching it for ages and I needed to go to the bathroom. I asked Dad if he would stop/pause the tape (yes TAPE, I'm that old!) while I did so. He said, "There's only about 10 minutes left - can't you just hang on?"

At that very moment, the tape/film stopped. Naturally, I assumed that Dad had done it, but he looked as surprised as Mum and I did when we all realised that the remote control was sitting in the middle of the coffee table about 3 feet away from him. He said afterwards that he'd even thought for a second, that I had done it before he saw where the remote was.

None of us had an explanation for that one and I have wondered about it ever since. Was my need to use the bathroom so great that I telepathically stopped the tape?

It's a great super power to have. Alas I do not

I've seen knives thrown at people from nowhere in a crazy household as I've written about before.I originally thought this was poltergeist activity but am pretty sure it was telekinesis from the kid or kids of the family. They were aimed at the horribly abusive mother. The doom, gloom and hated in that home was a conductor for these I'm sure.I believe our minds, when under extreme stress are capable of creating these tangible events.

The closest I have ever come to feeling as if I had experienced telekinesis ,was the time when I felt I had, for one split second, influenced the trajectory of a falling object.
ive always wondered along the lines of (and to again quote the matrix...lol) "do not try to bend the spoon, that's impossible, instead realize the truth, there is no spoon...… or the Zen saying, 'before you study Zen, a bowl is a bowl, while you study Zen a bowl is no longer a bowl, after you study Zen a bowl is once again a bowl"....the matrix quote could fit the real world just the same as the virtual world in the since that if everything is composed of just atoms, then there is no spoon, just atoms, everything is connected, every thing is the same. so the trick is to influence the world on an atomic level.... if one atom can influence another a foot away, then it should be easy, right....lol.... ive got to quit thinking.

To elaborate, I was ironing a shirt, and started to put down the iron. But it was too close to the edge of the ironing board, and instead, I dropped the iron. It felt like time froze for a split second, because that iron should have dropped hard on my right foot. But instead, it took a split second or two longer to fall, and I was able to move out of harm's way.
