They were peel and stick caps used on toy bullets in cap pistols. Very popular when TV westerns were all the rage in the 50s-60s.

Steve, I'm 67. I remember when the TV signed off for the night at midnight. You're still a puppy in my time line.A few years ago I was having a discussion with my wife and some of her co-workers and someone made the comment of "Remember when MTV used to play music videos?" After a quick round chuckles and knowing head nods I replied "I remember when MTV used to not exist." There were no chuckles but rather wide eyes and slack jaws. I was already well aware that I was the oldest person if that particular group, but I didn't really feel that way until that moment.
I had totally forgotten about this gum and I loved it,a real blast from the past.
I'm pretty sure we didn't have canned chicken here in Oz until fairly recently.Sorry if anyone ate this but it looks like tinned salmonella,lol.

i loved this gum.I found some at one of those Ye Olde Tymey candy shops.I bought 10 bagsI had totally forgotten about this gum and I loved it,a real blast from the past.
