Hi guys, well we are picking up the puppy on SATURDAY! Eeeeek Who knows about puppies around here? I'm going to get it one of those wire playpens for outside and one for inside and a crate to sleep in and some stiff plastic to put under inside pen with bath mats on it for the inside playpen. OMG
I’d really like to help you J but I don’t have any experience with dawgs.

UH OH! New pet owner goes wild in Pet Smart....lol Honey, they make washable mats to fit the kennels. (Crates)

man my heart is in my throat about jadmom and this new puppy. The breeder is telling us the puppy wakes up about 5-5:30am you take it out feed it put it in it's inside pen play with it and it is exhausted in about an hour take it back out to pee/poop put it back in pen and do that all day and feed around 5pm. Does that sound about right?

the puppy is only supposed to be in kennel at night to sleep rest of time in playpen and back and forth inside outside trying to get it used to doing it's business outside and not on the oriental rug

Pretty much right on it for a puppy. Now, your mom has had dogs before. I'm sure she knows how to do this...lol

never a puppy
Housebreaking young is really important. The in and out keeps a schedule going that the pup soon learns. I would also grab some spot cleaner while you're at it, cuz no puppy is perfect. Possibly some puppy pads.
