Suggestion Box!

Well like to discuss different theories on religion, demonology, god(s), goddesses, share whatever religious holiday you prefer wether it be christmas, beltane, or Ramadan. And do it all in a respectful healthy environment

Lol I believe in one God, Jesus was in fact his son. But theres about where it ends in traditional Christianity. I believe what different cultures called Gods were actually fallen angels/and or Alien beings. I believe the bible is only half there. Like the full thing is the truth except for since the nicean council took over the full thing isn't there. I do believe that magik truly exists and there may be another god or goddess but they are actually angels created by the One true God but since we basically put the label of God on anything more powerful than ourselves we have called them as such. I also believe a ton of mythology to be somewhat true(ex. The banshee, the dullahan, the tuatha de danann,etc). Theres a ton more.

So you and I are somewhat on the same page. I’m a Christian but recognize that there are in fact other gods out there. And the Old Testament points it out in a pretty subtle way. Eh lll shut up and start a thread dedicated to this

I would humbly suggest that we NOT have a "Religion" forum. To many, religion is very personal, and to others very polarizing! I think Paranormal Forum.net should basically stick with "Paranormal".

I have very similar beliefs. I think that these entities running around down here are all related in some way to The Fall. What we call them doesn’t matter but they have many names depending on area and culture. I don’t consider them Gods but they do have some powers. I believe they all answer to the parameters God puts on them.

Seems nobody takes issue with politics when it doesn't involve their own world though. Funny how that works.

We already have a forum area for that and that would be Spirituality. Please feel free to utilize that forum area for those discussions, other than religious dogma itself.

The TWO things I won't go with here is a comparative religion thread (as it always, always devolves quickly when we talk about specific dogma) and politics. Both types of threads have always had built in problems of dividing people instead of uniting people. This forum is designed to show respect to all spiritual beliefs wiithout debate of who's right and who's wrong getting in the way. Your personal beliefs are yours and please do value them and hold tight to your faith! My goal here is to show how much we have in common with all faiths.

We have all sorts of posts re: spirituality, including talk of Goddesses, Beltane, Christmas, magic and prayer. Please feel free to start those discussions anytime.

As for politics....no. Just no. Conspiracy, world government, etc, are fine. But the 2 party politics are off the table as Goddess knows we get enough of that everyday all ready! lol

The purpose of my suggestion box is not to change the forum, but to see if I can add any new "toys" for you guys to play with.
