We do have pigeons in the states. I am laughing at myself because I obviously did read that wrong.

Hi Rose--The closest thing we have here in the US midwest is the mourning dove. Very calming to listen to in the morning.

Oh, that's lovely! I don't believe we have those over here. I saw a Turtle Dove during my one trip to the States. It was in a cemetery in Savannah, Georgia. We used to have them here but they're very rare now, so that was the only one I've ever seen.

I just played the two bird call videos and the Pigeon Street theme at the same time after two glasses of wine and a few beers and it was quite an experience.
