I live in eastern Oklahoma, back in the mid 2000's the discovery channel did a bigfoot special in the south east part of the state, which connects with North East Texas. A local reporter from Tulsa went with them, she came back a believer. You might still find it on YouTube. The movie, Legend of Boggy Creek, was based upon that area of Oklahoma, Arkansas and Texas.
