Yes, I remember reading that! Denver seemed like a good guy. I have autographed copies of Russell's and Dawn's books, but not Bob's.
 
I like the cameo that Bob did, where he is at a bar and says something along the lines of "I was stranded on a island with a guy who could make a nuclear reactor out f a couple coconuts, but couldn't get us off the island"

They have a bid A.G.Show festival up in Mount Airy. The whole main street is Mayberry themed, and there are even people that play the parts of some of the characters
