Bob Denver died in Winston-Salem at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital during his chemo therapy. I live about 5 miles from the hospital.

I just saw the Formerly "Roy Hinkley" under your avatar. Wasn't that the name of the Professor on Gilligans Isle?

LOL - yes! I was Roy Hinkley for many years, but decided to "retire" him. Loved the show, and Russell Johnson was a very interesting man, and it is a good piece of trivia, so that's where it all started.

Yeah it is getting like the Andy Griffith show. Only one or two originals left. I think it is down to the woman who played Thelma Lou, Ron Howard, and Clint Howard. They have a bid A.G.Show festival up in Mount Airy. The whole main street is Mayberry themed, and there are even people that play the parts of some of the characters
