Assorted mystery nails and screws, odd bits of metal things that you can't remember what they go to, packets of condiments that are at least three years old, dried out masking tape.

It sound like everyone has a junk draw with similar useless items, lol. When I moved I cleaned mine out and threw the contents away . I really missed that junk and have now filled my draw to the brim again, .

The magic of the junk drawer is you can dump it out and you are sure to need something you just dumped within 3 days. The last time I tried to dump it my husband threw himself in front of me yelling "NOOOOO!" I shall need to be much more stealthy on my next try.
