I think there was a worldwide connection to these entities we see in stone representations. There was probably a pre flood civilization that worshiped what humans' thought were gods, what the bible calls fallen angels. These creatures mated with humans and produced giants and humans with great strength. These stories come down to us through the ages from the Bible and other tomes. The flood may have whipped out the mixed races, but the "entities" continue on. They could well be the shape shifters and paranormal troublemakers we encounter still today. This theory is not new, and we see it on the tv shows like ancient aliens, they just give them different names. Just my thoughts on the subject.
