Protection From The Other Side

This happened about five years ago, but made a big impression on me! I was living in Florida at the time, and had been been taking long drives to see a specialist in Jacksonville. Since I have always loved a good ghost story, or anything supernatural, I had been reading a book about haunted locations in Florida. As my husband and I were driving back home after being in Jacksonville, I realized that we were passing a haunted hotel that had been mentioned in the book, so I asked him to stop and let me check the place out. The hotel was closed at that time, so we drove around to the back parking lot and I glanced up at the windows, since the book had mentioned the activity being mostly on the third floor.

Well, I had no sooner glanced up when I heard a voice say, very clearly, "Cassie, let's go." (That was my nickname as a child.) I did not hesitate, but urged my husband to drive us the hell out of there. Later, I did more research on the hotel, and realized that we had been very right to get away from it. Since it was necessary to pass the place a few more times since I had to finish up with the specialist, I became aware of a tugging sensation whenever we got within a half mile of the place. I asked my husband to help me place a protective shield around our car as we passed; it was as if something in there wanted me to come back.

To this day, I get chills whenever I think of what could have happened, and I wonder who it was who protected me!

The thing that particularly stood out in what I read about the place, was that it wasn't a mere haunting going on there, but that there was some kind of demonic entity that was actually preventing other souls from moving on. Demons are not something I want to mess about with, for sure.

That’s a good call on your part. I hope someone in the area can help those souls.

Sounds like you made a wise decision. Did you recognize the voice at all. Someone from your childhood? Did your husband hear it ?

Lynne, I thought of my deceased father when I heard the voice, but wasn't sure. And no, my husband didn't hear it; the voice sounded like it was inside my head, but it wasn't my own inner voice. Whomever it was, I was glad to be warned away from the place. This isn't the first time I felt "summoned". Once I was driving in Redding CT, and while passing a cemetery, I felt as if I had to walk through it. So I stopped the cars, walked around a bit, felt weird and left. Later I found that a good friend, whose husband had died a couple of months before this, was buried there. Did he want to communicate with me? I often wonder.

This is very interesting. Perhaps set an intention or say a prayer before bed that you get an answer to why this pull happens. You might get a response in the dream state.
