Living on the Road

Me either! I like a solid, rooted to the ground home to live in. As a child, my family was always moving around from one place to another, so no thanks!

I have a mate who's family moved from place to place, he went to over 30 schools. He's a well balanced and sociable guy, he reckons he learnt to make friends quickly but he doesn't want to travel anymore.

The animals is another reason I couldn't do it even if I wanted to. I haven't had a holiday in 25 years but my lifestyle makes up for it.

Little square of dirt..lol...That was funny Lynne. It's nice to appreciate the little things in life. Something that some just can't grasp. I don't have a big piece of property, but hey...it's mine.

I don't want to live like that permanantly, I want to keep my home, but I would love to be able to hit the road for a month in a comfortable motorhome and visit people I know all over the U.S. and Canada.

I could maybe do that if I have a home base, if something goes wrong or you get sick of travelling.

I'm someone that finds it fascinating live off-grid very cool, so definitely. It'd be a nice change of pace. And I'd have the right means of transportation if I ever decided to go on a road trip.

I’ve heard there is a real problem with the homeless situation there. That is creating health dangers and an impediment to shoppers and such. A tragic situation all the way around.
