Which is the same basic message you and others here give to first time posters, usually youngsters, who play with Ouija boards and other like intended devices. And it's why I am comfortable with and usually avoid those discussions about demons and the like. I know there is way too much I don't know, and what I don't know CAN hurt me.
This is the reason I now simply Don't Feed the Demons here, as you know. They go straight to clergy per our rules. I have a lot of years of learning, but when it comes to that, I pass the baton and admit I simply don't know enough to take that on. I don't even know if clergy knows enough but they have far more "tools" to do the battle than I have.

I know of at least 3 demonologists, GOOD ONES who know their stuff, who have had attachments or taken things home with them and had to get more outside help. Two of those have written books on the subject. This is why I am convinced we don't know what we think we know. It's waaay more, people. Perhaps beyond us to comprehend at this stage.

Keep the prayers strong and the shields up and don't poke the bears in the mystical woods out of curiosity.

So does that mean someone who has no belief in, and would therefore not consider the possibility of, unwelcome spirits be in no danger?
That's what I think, you rarely, if ever hear of skeptics experiencing anything paranormal as they have closed their mind from it(correct me anyone if I'm wrong with this).

IMO, if the show is fake, I don't see an issue. Nothing really there.

I'm sensitive to actual negative energy that is what I call "active" in a program. I have held off sharing a few of those shows here as I've felt "something" stirring from the broadcast. The podcast that was affected I first mentioned we actually put a warning on it because this thing was "broadcasting."

Now, on some shows, with what I see as real activity, I do think that some people may react if they have a prior intention of reaching out to the other side for contact. I think also that some people may be more sensitive to certain energies out there.

But back again to your question, if nothing is there, and you are simply watching the show, there should be no problem. Now, the power of suggestion may bring about a whole nuther issue as you see with people in theaters in a horror movie.
Debi you bring up a very interesting point there that was pointed out to me the other day by someone. He said do not watch TV shows that have negative energy connected to them, he said you can feel this negative energy while watching it and it does not matter what the subject could be. I also noticed this with music, the other day a friend was listening to this song and really getting into it, although it always made me feel a little sick while listening to any of his music, and my friends wife said she hatted that song, so I realized right then I do not have to be afraid to say that I do not like a certain group and now I really know why I hate some music, it is just negative.

Good point. Music has a vibration and it can effect our on frequency. Makes sense. I think our intuition speaks to us and we need to listen to that still inner knowing when something is effecting us.

At the least they are not poking the bear so to speak. They aren’t opening doors and giving assent for these things to get involved. However there are instances where innocents get attacked. I would agree with you their instances are much lower.

I also noticed this with music,
Music is meant to evoke emotion from us. It is it's own kind of energy and is interpreted by each individual as positive or negative according to our own energy and intentions. Ever listen to a movie without a score? Much less of an impact without one. The music sets a tone and evokes those emotions and feelings from us every time.

Case in point...

At the start of my sophomore year in college, I moved to a new floor in the dorm. I didn't know it initially, but my new neighbors were very devout evangelical Christians, "Jesus Freaks" in the language of the day. Long story short, they asked to be moved to another room/floor because they thought their neighbors were Satanists. Why? Because of the "sinister sounding" music I listened to, two songs in particular.

As you might imagine, seeing those album covers when the RA brought them over to talk with me didn't help.

What is calming to some is Satan's music to another. Perception. Emotions How boring a world it would be if we all liked the same things or felt the same things! And to me, the devil is in disco! :p

completely agree with this.... Disco should be banned and all evidence destroyed, before someone gets hold of an album and plays it backwards and summons a legion of demons upon the earth...I bet if you play any disco backwards it still sounds like disco, how evil is that??? the devils music I tell ya......lol
