I may have shared this before, but there was a time when I was driving an old clunker which was getting low on gas. I turned onto a busy road, because I knew that there was a gas station coming up. There were cars ahead of me, and a long line of cars behind me when I felt the car going into a stall. I braced myself for the inevitable impact because it had happened with no warning, and there had not been enough time for me to turn on the hazard lights. But when nothing happened, I glanced into the rear view mirror and the road behind me was completely empty of cars, as well as in front of me. I was able to put on the hazard lights and walk the half block to a gas station and get some emergency gas. I know that this was a divine intervention, because there should have been a pile up when my car stalled.
