A somewhat low tech approach to solving the problem of marauding drones in restricted airspace. Sounds like it uses something akin to a proximity fuse, a technology that's been around since WWII. There would be a concern with collateral damage in the event the round does not fire its net and hits something or someone on the ground, but that's probably workable in all but a densely populated, urban area. Between well defined rules of engagement, a down loaded propellant firing charge, and automatic deployment of the net before the round hits the ground should handle those concerns.
