Hello PF, I've described on other posts about how I sometimes have interesting interactions with insects since delving into shamanism and integrating it into my life.
Today I had a moth ram into my right eye then stay on my glasses I thought he might have died because he stopped moving but I guess he just went to sleep because I moved my glasses and he flew on my leg where he stayed for like 10 minutes until I got up then he landed on the ground next to me even while I was sweeping the floor (around him). Even now as I type just to my right there is the moth still in the same spot.
I was amazed when a moth landed on my eye and glasses and stayed there. I looked at it's eyes and it had turquoise colored globes for eyes with black spots decorating them. I felt a strange circle of warmth surrounding the moth about 3-4 inches wide from the center. I began too feel the warmth in my chest and it spread to my upper abdomen. Then I felt the warmth on my shoulders and upper arms. I could feel my energy rising as I was very drained. I could feel less fatigued and more invigorated. I also felt more positive and less negative. It lifted me out of a rut and took me high above for a moment. But even when I stood up and has to keep cleaning I could still feel a residual warmth in my chest and mood. I kept cleaning and felt like I was still rising in energy. A few times I walked away to do something and when I would come back my moth friend would still be there. Then when I got within about 10 feet (3 meters) I would feel the connection again and feel warm and still rising.
In response to all this I thanked the moth many times and searched online the meaning of moth symbolism to reread it and refresh myself. To introspect for a moment on what solutions or problems or blessings or information or lesson is this moth bringing me with this energy. It is a beautiful moth and still it sits by my side.
I think it's important to pay attention to the lessons animals even insects can bring you when you are spiritually aware of the connection between all life. With that realization comes the eagerness to show one's respect to the animal kingdom and the intricacies of the universe. It is perhaps even a suppressed knowledge our relationship with the universe, and the unresting souls that wander this planet some in agony others seeking the ruin of the living, may be healed by this knowledge other knowledge like it that lessons can be provided when mutual respect is kept. But when one is out of balance with their relationship to the living one can become stuck and never learn the lessons needed to move on peacefully. Anyway my point is that maybe it's an important concept for the healing members towards the paranormal. Sometimes something as little as a moth can bring restoration but you have to be open to their gifts.
Further in helping others when others are low energy one can call on a spirit animal like moth or whatever you want. Then channel the energy given to you to the other person, or to yourself then the other person. Whatever works. Then thank the animal spirit. You can call for guidance or help or energy. I suggest integrating them into your daily prayer routine.
