My sister and I are big Miami Hurricane Fans and our season starts tomorrow. We're season ticket holders too. What they did for our home games is allow 13,000 tickets, spread throughout the stadium. Season ticket holders were allowed to pick 3 games and then have the rest of the dollar value rollover into next year's season. I was able to pick 3 games (2 seats each). The seat selection was slim. They had rows mapped out with 2, 3, 4 and 5 seats per block. You could only pick a row with your number of seats or else you would have to buy the entire block of seats. Our usual seats are lower level. What we had to settle for were uppers. There will be no tailgating and no allowance of alcoholic beverages inside. I've been a UM Fan since around 1983 and it wouldn't feel right not going to any games, especially the FSU game. I managed (in the frenzy of selecting seats) to get seats for the Florida State, North Carolina and Pitt games. So, we'll see how it goes. :football: []_[] GO CANES! :)

I've been watching games all day, there seems to be little enthusiasm on the part of the players with no/few fans. What I find disturbing are the FCS teams who are playing 3-4 game schedules for the paydays coming out of games against FBS schools. I know these schools get the bulk of their athletic budgets from these guarantee games, but there is no way I'd want my son trotted out on the field for a few meaningless games. These schools should be ashamed.

The NFL is seeing a drastic drop in viewership as well. Probably for other reasons. I feel bad for the kids involved in the college and High School games right now.

We have nothing that compares to College Football in the US here in the UK. Yes, we have inter-school soccer tournaments, amongst other sports titles, but they are not as 'glamourous' as the football events you have.

Sometimes it is just difficult to get parents along to see their kids play the soccer matches :tearsofjoy:

A nice thing to do. Idk if it should have made the news but still nice. It just comes off as publicity when they make a big deal out of charity.
