Twice a year I got new shoe's and a new dress. Beginning of school year and Easter. My grand-mother made all our clothes so beginning of school dress she made. But Easter, that was a trip with Grandmother to John A. Brown's downtown, a new dress, patent leather shoe's, and lunch in the Cafeteria down stairs. Mostly she and I would go to Sunrise Service (Church of Christ) down the block. Sometime's not. Alway's dyed egg's. I don't remember a lot of candy or baskets. I still dye egg's even though it's just me now. My favorite Easter candy? Why, those colorful Easter Egg candy's with marshmallow inside. I am partial to the orange one's although they all taste the same. 'shrug' I am attracted to the color I suppose.
