The cruise i went on the ship was 900 and some feet long. Standing next to it, looked huge...until another one pulled into port that made mine look like a tug boat rofl.
It is incredible how big we can build these ships.

Rolling into Sitka Alaska now. No Wi-Fi at sea. We may get it from time to time but it’s expensive. Seas were rough last night. Makes you roll around. Trying bringing back 2 large coffees about 100 yards of hallways with rolling seas, it was quite the challenge! Digital camera is now a no-go. There are some spots inside the camera that show up clearly on the pics. Kinda aggravated about that. Cell phone pics from here on out. Have more vids to put in YouTube to show you. We’re back farther 1 hour. 10 am here. 2 pm back home. Doesn’t get dark till 10 pm. It so messes with your head. Food is good. They treat you well. Room service made a mouse out of a towel on our bed. Fixin to go do a 4 hr trip in a side by side. Gonna be a blast! Will post when I can….

Hey Lon, does the ship go to Kiska? The island has a really cool WW2 history, it was occupied by the Japanese. The island was bombed from the air and bombarded by naval gunfire almost daily for a year by the US. A lot of Japanese equipment is still there.
