The sun has come out here! YAY! And we are having a "warm" front move through...it's up to about 50 right now.
We had nearly six feet during a storm at the end of Dec 92. Nothing even close, since. Hardly any snow at all since I finally broke down and bought a snow blower three years ago, after shoveling by hand for 31 years.
My son predicts this winter might change that 3 year lack of...lol We'll see how accurate he is. Meanwhile:We had nearly six feet during a storm at the end of Dec 92. Nothing even close, since. But I feel for those folks. Took the neighborhood days to dig out. We all had 14-foot high snow mountains in our yards that didn't melt away until June.
I actually bought a mini heater for my bedroom, and my son has one as well. I can run that cheaper than using my gas furnace! I keep the furnace at about 64 max. Closed off two rooms of the house as well.I am glad that we have a fireplace insert stove. It can be plugged in and send heat through the entire house.
