Yes when I start to feel the fear building I try to do exactly that by practicing being in the present until I can feel the anxiety release. It doesn’t always work but being grounded in the present seems to really help.

I've found that at times trying to help a negative person just feeds them more of your own energy, that they turn into more negative energy. Sometimes, you have to stop feeding them.

I agree. Set boundaries so you can stay in contact and show love but limit exposure time and discussions. I use a lot of reflective phrases like “I see” and “I understand”.....and oh the cat got out I will have to call you back !

Toby has his surgery date set for Jan, I can’t believe how backed up the vets are. I am concerned he will be spraying by then!! I hope not. I am going to look for claw caps tomorrow.
