I don't know, I didn't try any of his fig items. He offered, but I'm not a fig fan either. Mrs Duke would have liked to have tried the wine, but I would not have been able to bring it back on the plane.

I love apricot jam, too, and that reminds me of a dessert that I discovered when I first moved to PA. They are called Kiffles, and are made from a dough that has cream cheese in it, and then spread with Apricot jam (or any other flavor jam) rolled up, baked, and sprinkled with powdered sugar. Yum!

I don't know if there is a jam or jelly that I don't like. Of the three, perhaps I like strawberry more. My Aunt used to make apple butter and it is special to me. My favorite might be any of the berries, without seeds please.

When I was going to college in Southern Indiana I was always tasked with bringing back apple butter. 80's.
Now I have a good Farm Stand 2 miles from home that makes wonderful apple butter.
Otherwise raspberry preserves wind up on peanut butter sandwiches.
