new here! posting a question for insight possibly just wondering if there is truth to the children born with caul/c section myth. i was n i’m 30 n have experienced many different situations in my life semi paranormal. but my most troubling is when my mother passed away suddenly in my home. the next day i immediately heard her crying and sighing while in the shower and no one believed me. i also see “flashes” of past memories of people that never happened. or at least i wasn’t present. what is going on?

hello curious, im not familiar with the myths or superstitions surrounding en caul births so I cant weigh in on that portion of your question.... I dont dismiss it as pure superstition though and am curious as to others view on this as well.. so until someone comes along with further info in that area I will just ask if you can elaborate a little further on some of your past experiances with the paranormal, what types of occurances or abilities have you had?...what are some of your interests and practices in this area have you delved into or studied / searched for answers or "practiced".... these are just some questions that may help others help you finding the answers you are seeking.
Hi Curious. I do believe you are the first person to ask about a caul birth. First, c section or not, the story goes it's a "sign" of some one of royalty or who is special with gifts or good fortune. In actuality, it is simply something that can be attributed to a medical situation at birth. Although rare, I've not found that caul babies have any more psychic gifts than anyone else.
You ask about hearing/seeing your mother after her passing, but you also mention you have other experiences. Psychic skills are often kick started after a traumatic event, which I would consider losing a parent would be for most people. Also, the flashes of past memories not belonging to you may also be assoiciated with your mother "sending" you some of her own memories. Contact with a loved one after a passing is actually fairly normal, as more people are now feeling free to admit to it happening. Nothing to fear from it, and it may make more sense over time as you gather more information about her past activities and friends.
Sometimes our loved ones simply wish to give us a bit more after they leave this side. If you would prefer it stop, you might talk to her as if she is still present and let her know you don't understand what she is trying to share but let her know you love her and miss her. Also, biggie here, let her know YOU are OK and she can move on to the other side.

Most of my experiences have included family members. when i was a kid my older cousin used to use a second remote to turn the television off while watching, shortly after he was murdered and that night my tv would do it periodically and my remote was with me. but i’ve always been into psychics, my neighbor was one and i spent many days and nights with her at her home. i don’t know if i opened something or if it was already there. i should mention my older sister also born en caul has always claimed to see spirits since she was a child. but she ignores
As all energy is entangled and connected, it's not unusual for most of the "seeings" to be family related, as these energies are closest to us. Also, many times you will see skills/talents run in families. Two of my children and one of my grandchildren are very strong in psychic skills. You might want to read a bit about the different "clair" skills...clairaudient, clairsentient, etc. See what resonates most strongly for you and begin to learn a bit about those skills.

I would suggest you look at some of the info in the spirituality section. There is a lot you can learn there about this type of thing. You sound like you are just beginning your journey into this knowledge, and I do think it will become clearer for you as you educate yourself a bit more on the topic.
Also, Faith has a huge influence on our acceptance of it. Almost every faith I'm aware of tells us about life after death in some form or fashion.

Hi Curious and welcome to the forum. My father was born with a caul and he and his father both have gifts. I don’t know if that has anything to do with being physic.
