Truly hope it all works out out. You have spoken of it often, so i see the attachment. Money is one thing, caring for an animal you have a bond with surpasses that by far.

I have never owned a horse, but have heard of a different type of bond that occurs between owner and their horse. Can't really put in same bracket as a dog or cat etc, that bond is something different...at least what i have learned.

Again, once that bond is established, owner does not seem like the correct term.

They are with us for a long time. They live a third of our lives if well cared for.

Good deal. Just got off phone with parents and they are almost to my brother's house in Louisiana. Not sure how many more years they will be able to make these driving trips, but they made it safe. One day i got to get down there. Been many years.

Only been to Louisiana once, for a football game at LSU. Only place I've been with drive thru dacqui stands.

Since I have not been able to ride my horse due to her hoof condition, I am getting out of shape. I need to get back on the work outs. It is so hard to climb back on the wagon. When I was working I had to lift weights and work out 5 days a week to stay strong, because working in a detention center requires physical restraints quite often. I have gotten soft in the last 5 years lol.
