View attachment 30566
i have 4 feeders for seed and 5 hummingbird feeders around the yard and 3 bird baths for water. theres a ton of cardinals, Robins, finches and doves that nest in the yard, along with a woodpecker. there is usually finch nests in my plants on the porch, i love having the yard full of birds.

Good morning all.

Today was a day I wished I could have stayed in bed. Of course, every work day is like that. Ah well, the pain reminds us that we are still on the right side of the grass!

Got off work yesterday and took care of five errands on the way home. Once home, I walked the dog, did a few chores, took my pain meds and proceeded to fall asleep sitting up on the couch again, while my coffee got cold. It's almost routine at this point, lol.

Taking Mrs. GWU to the doctor today so I get to leave the office an hour early. Only one other errand after her doctor appointment so not as hectic an afternoon as yesterday.

Have a great day everyone!
Hoping the day goes well. Blessings to MRS GWU.

Me too. My main winter challenge is keeping water unfrozen for them. Any ideas for next year.

i could see how that would be a problem for you guys. that is not an issue i have to face so unfortunately i cant give any ideas with that. its 70 degrees here now and this is our "cold" month. lol. it does drop down to the 30's and 40's for a couple days but is back to nice weather in a day or 2. so the water dont really freeze for more than a day. i also have a 20 by 20 pond that never freezes because its always circulating.

I may have to run an outdoor cord to a small heater next year. I am tired of pouring hot water in the bird bath. It doesn’t last long
