Beard or no beard...that is the question

THE MAJORITY OF MEN IN MY FAMILY HAVE BEARDS. THEY REFUSE TO PART WITH THEM AND ACTUALLY FEEL "WRONG" WITHOUT THEM. ONE SON HAS QUITE THE GOATEE EFFECT GOING ON, AND THE REST ARE BEDECKED WITH VERSIONS OF A SHORT BEARD. MY DAUGHTER IN LAW ACTUALLY HAD TO FIND PATTERNS FOR MASKS FOR THESE GUYS SO THEY WOULD FIT RIGHT. (BLESS HER!)

FOR THE GUYS.....HAVE YOU EVER OR DO YOU NOW HAVE A BEARD? HOW ABOUT JUST THAT "SCRUFFY" LOOK? DO YOU PREFER ONE TO HAVING TO SHAVE OR JUST LIKE THE LOOK?

Heh I’ll speak for Ashleh cuz she’s on here less than I am. She doesn’t like em. I was planning on growing a “covid beard” until the state of emergency in Alberta was over. A month in she wanted me to shave it

I’ve had a full beard off and on since age 17.

My face gets really irritated so after two weeks of shaving I have to take a break. No choice.

My youngest son is the same way. Shaving is like torture to him. And he comes out a bloody mess...literally! I feel for ya.

I have had a beard for about 4 years now. I like it, and my wife is ok with it, but I think would rather I didn't have one. I did shave it off a few weeks ago, and felt naked. I've not shaved again since.

Nada. Won't go 2 or 3 days without shaving. Especially since it decided to grow in grey. I have to Norelco electrics that are pushing 20 years old, but maintained.

I've had a beard for 43 years,shaved it once or twice in my life since I was 13. I can't remember not having one.

Well, from a woman's point of view, When I met Jim he didn't have a beard, but when he decided to let it grow in, I really liked it! And now, if he shaves it off, I find that I miss it. It's not very long; if it were longer I probably wouldn't like it as much.

just depends on the time of year and how I feel about shaving...lol.... usually do the goatee style and have kept it short for a while now. I grow a full beard every couple years when I just get tire of shaving and don't have to meet with anyone for a while., when I do grow it I just let it grow until im really tired of it and look like ive lived in the wilderness for years...lol..
