hi there,

I just joined the site and wanted to start a post where individuals with Rh negative blood types can upload photos of their eye colour makeup. Any other related conversation is also a bonus! I am personally O- and here is a close up of my left eye. 26 yo M

Well, I won't load my eyeball, but yes, I have RH neg and I have very light green eyes with a dark ring around them. I have been told they are spooky. The RH Neg discussions on here you may find of interest.

BTW, going to move your post over to another forum area, AND welcome to the forum.

"Rh-" redirects here. For the Siddharta album, see Rh- (album). For the band, see The RH Factor.
The Rh blood group system is one of forty-five[citation needed] known human blood group systems. It is the second most important blood group system, after the ABO blood group system. The Rh blood group system consists of 49 defined blood group antigens,[1] among which the five antigens D, C, c, E, and e are the most important. There is no d ("little d") antigen. Rh(D) status of an individual is normally described with apositive or negative suffix after the ABOtype (e.g., someone who is A Positive has the A antigen and the Rh(D) antigen, whereas someone who is A Negative lacks the Rh(D) antigen). The terms Rh factor, Rh positive, and Rh negative refer to the Rh(D) antigen only. Antibodies to Rh antigens can be involved in hemolytic transfusion reactions and antibodies to the Rh(D) and Rh(c) antigens confer significant risk of hemolytic disease of the fetus and newborn.

The term "Rh" was originally an abbreviation of "Rhesus factor." It was discovered in 1937 by Karl Landsteinerand Alexander S. Wiener, who, at the time, believed it to be a similar antigen found in rhesus monkey red blood cells. It was subsequently learned the human factor is not identical to the rhesus monkey factor, but by then, "Rhesus Group" and like terms were already in widespread, worldwide use. Thus, notwithstanding it is a misnomer, the term survives (e.g., rhesus blood group system and the obsolete terms rhesus factor, rhesus positive, and rhesus negative – all three of which actually refer specifically and only to the Rh D factor and are thus misleading when unmodified. Contemporary practice is to use "Rh" as a term of art instead of "Rhesus" (e.g., "Rh Group," "Rh factors," "Rh D," etc.).

There are 4 different major blood types: A, B, AB, and O. This typing is based on the different antigens that are on a person’s blood cells and are a type of protein. Some people have an additional protein to their blood type, called the Rh factor, which resides on the surface of the red blood cells. If you have this protein, then you are Rh positive. If not, then you are Rh negative.

Being Rh negative isn’t necessarily a bad thing. It simply puts you into one of the smaller population groups that are classified by blood type. It also means that you likely have some of these Rh negative blood type personality traits.

1. There Is a Need To Have Facts.
People who are Rh negative want to be able to create their own opinions from the facts that are on-hand in any given situation. Opinions are appreciated as part of the evaluation process, but not appreciated if they are being presented as fact. This personality wants to seek out the truth in all things and is never really satisfied until it is discovered.

2. There Is a Feeling Of Being Different.
People with Rh negative blood always tend to feel like they stand out from the rest of the crowd. This leads them toward careers that are both creative and fact-seeking, such as astronomy, engineering, or other sciences. They don’t necessarily see being “different” as being a bad thing, but they will naturally seek out others with the same blood type naturally to form a closer kinship then they feel like they can with others.

3. They Are Ridiculously Smart.
You’ll find that many people look at folks with Rh negative blood as being arrogant, cocky, or just downright rude when it comes to life. The only problem is that this personality can back up everything they say because of their much higher than average IQ compared to other personality traits. If you think about the smartest person you know, then there’s a good chance that person has an Rh negative blood type.

4. They Experience Many Unexplained Things In Life.
If you speak with someone who has an Rh negative blood type, then there’s a good chance they’ve experienced something unusual at least once in their lives. This experience can vary greatly: some say that they were abducted by aliens. Others talk about psychic dreams that they have on a regular basis. Others claim that they’ve got mental traits like ESP or telekinesis – and it’s up to you to determine if they are telling the truth or they are telling their truth.

5. They Sense Emotions In Others To The Point It Can Make Them Sick.
Give a person with a positive blood type and a person with a negative blood type the same article about Syrian refugees and the hardships that they face. After reading the article, the Rh negative blood type personality will empathize with the people involved, place themselves into the shoes of those refugees, and physically experience the same symptoms that are described in the article – and the positive blood type will usually not. Empathetic illnesses are very common with this population group.

6. They Have a Remarkable Level Of Intuition.
You do not want to play poker with someone who has an Rh negative blood type. Their high levels of intuition can smell out a bluff a mile away. This intuition can also lead these folks to make what seems like an unusual decision at the time for everyone observing them, but in the future the reasoning behind the choice becomes clear. They are always thinking three steps ahead, listening to their gut instincts, and generally making the right choices because of it.

7. They Are Easily Frightened.
People with the Rh negative blood type personality are so busy looking forward to see what is coming their way that they often miss what is right in front of them. Sometimes that means they might smash their face into a door, stub their toe on a vacuum, or trip on the stairs. It also means that unexpected scary things can give them quite the fright. Because this wasn’t “predicted,” this personality type considers these scares to be unexplained and then they just go back to whatever it was they were doing.

The Rh negative blood type personality trait is one of the most unique in the human race today. They are forward-thinkers who believe that fate, God, or destiny has a mission for their life. Some might even say that they are not of this world – and in some ways, that might be a factual statement.
