A major junction with 4 roads often just controlled by traffic lights and some large roundabouts also have traffic lights or it would just be a free for all

Ohhh, yes! We have recently added some here in the area. OMG! Most of us hate them! And the accident rate has gone UP instead of down as promised!

Same in my town. But it’s also a tiny circle. So icy conditions make turning a nightmare

We grew up with them so it's natural. We drive on the left so the basic rule is to stop and give way to traffic on the roundabout coming from the right. Perfect except when I was living in Belgium the rule is you give way while your on the roundabout so this means drivers just drive straight on and you have to hit the brakes, crazy.

We have to yeild to those already on the roundabout. It's confusing. I really don't like them at all. There have been many complaints on them here.

It's really hard on some of them! Greewood decided they'd give these a try and then Franklin jumped in with 3. I recently saw someone drive into the 'on" portion of it the wrong way against traffic. And she was about 92.

Leaving Glasgow airport you are confronted by roundabouts and huge signs saying drive on the left / turn left joining roundabouts. More than one tourist has been killed leaving the airport in their hire car
