A factor today, that Art AND his guests during the 80s and 90s did NOT have, is the INTERNET.
It is a fact of today's society that a guest would find it extremely difficult to hide behind a "name and or location" as many past guests did...
Stories and guests can be investigated for possible verification today much easier and by the public in general today...that was NOT possible in earlier times....

I agree, for example in searching for "Mel" of "Mel's Hole"- We have a wealth of listeners- some of whom have investigative experience/abilities. By supplying all details known thus far ie: DOB, Full name including middle names and Sr.,Jr, III etc., any addresses, family members/associates full names.Is he -Melvyn, Melvin,Melchior,Melville. Just put it out there and see what we can do !
