what is with Coast mentioning Arts name?

I have been going into work early this week and I do not have sat in my work car. I had to listen to Coast to Coast . At the end of the program, Nory says goodnight and starts thanking the hosts. Why does he mention Art Bell like he still works with them? I thought it was a little strange.

When Art first announced his return, Coast acted like little cry babies and pulled Art's name from the closing credits. I think they received enough of a backlash, that they put Art's name back on. Other than that, now I would say they do it out of respect knowing that Art created the show. Also, they still run the "Somewhere In Time" episodes of Art's, so technically he is still one of the hosts, even though they are old shows.
