The article took the idea of living fire all the way to aliens, he really didn't make any point in my opinion. I thought he was going to make a case for fire being a living entity. I think most people have looked into a fire and saw faces, I have never thought it was really alive, but just pareidolia. Perhaps it is possible for it to be influenced by spirit or the unseen world, but I have not been convinced it is a life in itself.
