Sasquatch run over?

Another odd thing is why she didn't slow down or stop before she got to the figure in the road. I see a deer on shoulder or even standing at treeline i slow down or even stop.
I thought the same thing when reading the account. She had a lot of detail and enough time to see it do three things, (jump into the road, wave its arms and then lay down) I would think these actions would take a few seconds so why didn't she slow, or stop to back up. I sure would not have approached that thing. I agree there should have been more damage. Lon felt she was credible so perhaps her memory is adding to the story. It was well written for a change; I will give her that.
