Radio Transmissions from Police and Pilots

The comment by one of helo crews that what they were chasing was "definitely a drone" confirms what we thought we knew. Again the speed/maneuverable/altitude of the object isn't all that amazing for advanced military drones. This wasn't a quadcopter someone bought at Walmart.

The "satellite controlled" commentary is a bit confusing. I get the part about the flight path of the drone being beyond line of sight, in fact I made that point in June. Although radio transmissions can be sent/received via satellite, that's not the only way to send such signals. More impressive to me than the telemetry system used was the ability of whoever was remotely piloting the drone to process information received and maintain situational awareness to the point of flying it and positioning it relative to the helos.
