The latest in checkout ease: Amazon rolls out pay-by-palm tech to Whole Foods

Amazon announced Wednesday plans to expand Amazon One, its contactless payment service where you pay by palm, to a Whole Foods store in Seattle.

Seems to me the same banking info would still be available to hack. Many places won't even take cash now! It's crazy.

I think your info would be on file in their computer and you palm would give consent. There would be no numbers exposed. Like PayPal

Kroger had a data breach. All the info was hacked, including some credit cards. Where there is a will, there is a way. I now have two years of ID protection free because of this.
