How much money spent on the meaning of the scratches on a stone? Have they stopped to consider for one minute that it may just be used for cleaning fish?

I agree. It’s a huge stretch to base the premise of the experiment on the thoughts of present day man and those of ancient man. The two are probably way different even at the bases level. Our survival thoughts and those back then are also different. I think someone needed a Thesis project.
