While many people would run a mile from ghosts if they suddenly made an appearance in a person’s home, one person was intrigued at first that spirits have chosen his apartment to live in.
Rusty from North Carolina was intrigued to find that ghosts had taken over his apartment after being woken up to the sound of objects mysteriously falling out of place. Since that moment, Rusty has done everything he can to document the actions of a poltergeist in the apartment before finally admitting that he cannot live with ghosts.
In December of 2016, Rusty managed to capture what he said was a bizarre scene when objects around the home began to move about on their own. This included household appliances, cups, and paper. Rusty had set up a camera in his home, and he came home one night to find things out of place. At this point, he looked at the footage recorded on the camera. He said he felt he was being watched and that his first thought was to move out of the apartment.
The apartment was cleansed and blessed in 2017, but ghosts did not leave
Rusty remained in the apartment, and in 2017 another experience that could not be explained occurred when he heard banging coming from somewhere in the apartment. Rusty explained the New Year got off to a terrifying start even though he had brought in someone to cleanse the apartment of ghosts along with having it blessed.
After the cleansing, Rusty thought everything had gone back to normal, but things changed when a few days later he was woken up after hearing loud noises in the apartment. He grabbed his phone and started recording. What he recorded took the haunting of his apartment to an entirely new level.
Hauntings frightened him so much he had to leave
Rusty said that he immediately felt under threat when he woke up and made his mind up there and then to move out of the apartment into a hotel for the next few days. The lease on his apartment was up in February so he thought he might try to hang on until the end of the month. Rusty said that he had no explanation for what was happening in the apartment and this frightened him. He went on to say that at first he had been excited by what was happening around him and wanted to gain an understanding as to what was causing it. However, he was past that point and wanted to get out of the apartment and put the whole thing behind him.
The video does show inanimate objects flying off the countertops in the object, whether they were thrown about by ghosts or whether there was some trickery to them and the man just wanted some attention on the internet is not known. Right along with fake stories of ghosts and hauntings appear online all the time, and it is tough to tell the difference between the two sometimes, while with others it is obvious they are fake.
