Mystery note in Lucky Charms...and other food items

Just what were the note makers trying to accomplish? Besides contaminating a box of cereal?
it doesnt specify if the other notes or food products were from the same plant or production facility... it sounds as though it could be a warning of sorts. if from different plants it shows a coordinated / planned out effort from a group and not just a one off disgruntled person..... either way i would suggest not buying lucky charms for a while...

Food items are serialized (no pun intended) with UIDs that would allow the manufacturer to identify production lots. That should tell them when and where the cereal and other "all types of food products throughout the region" containing notes were produced/packaged.

If multiple items produced by multiple companies and/or at multiple locations contain similar notes, then things get interesting.
