The "Air Forces Monthly" article mentioned is the best, most well researched source I've read on this story.

There is/was no Aurora or TR-3 aircraft. There was no joint US/UK black aircraft program, although there were Brits in briefed to at least some black programs, if only defensively.

Do you have any idea what happened here? It sure sounds like they were covering something up.
