It would be fun to mess with people going by...hello God here .... lol.

out of that whole story all i can think of is im glad theres acetomenophen now for headaches.................

That looks more like a venturi than it does a megaphone. A venturi is used to increase the speed of air (or any fluid) by passing it through an area of decreased volume. I can't imagine why, but this might have been used for some type of flow/spray application or experimentation.

Excellent deduction. I thought it had an odd shape for a megaphone.
