I gave up keeping roosters because of the aggression. I keep just hens now but every group of hens has a leader and the leader will protect the others and even crow like a rooster but without the craziness.

No way this chicken killed this guy. He had a heart attack, and the chicken ate at him. Chickens will eat anything. The guy might have been unjustly afraid of the chicken, but it did not kill him. The dumbest thing I ever read. I had one of the meanest leg horn roosters ever. We called him the general. He would patrol the yard even at night (which is strange for a chicken). He would attack anything and everybody. He was raised in a house with 8 kids and was a house chicken. The family got tired of him, and I got the angry bird. I guess he resented being let go. Well, I tried to keep my promise to the family by keeping him for many years in spite of having to navigate him every day in my back yard. Nobody was ever killed, lol. One day he made the mistake of spurring me when I was carrying bags of feed to the barn and hubby saw it. The chicken went for a ride that day. Hubby said he flung him into the yard of another farmer who had chickens. One day I was driving near that farm, and I saw a large white rooster out at the end of their driveway strutting around. That monster was still around. I was sure it was him. Until then I wasn't sure if my husband had lied to me. This is the most ridiculous story ever. I do feel bad for the condition of the man's passing though.

The ignorance of some people really gets to me at times lol. These will be the people who can't swim but will save themselves by holding us down in the water while we drown.
