Red, I have never found "exercises" that work. My advice is to learn as much as you can, be alert to what you are sensing, and then learn some more...about yourself and the paranormal world. Get a good sense of where you are spiritually, and doors will start to open for you.

Thank you Debi, that’s helpful. I’ve been reading a lot and trying to be open. Journaling my dreams and thoughts that come to me. There are things to think about there.

Thank you for the welcome! This house has set empty for some time as well. I believe that is very possible as well and it is an older house, who has seen many people in and out for many years. Thank you for the reply too.

That’s reassuring. I aim to continue to learning about myself, my spirituality and the paranormal as I navigate these busy years. I have so many avenues of exploration. When I was young it felt much different. I trust myself more now.

You may want to start with just changing the energy in the house. I would do a thorough cleaning of the house. Wash walls floors and ceilings. Get rid of clutter and anything that was left there when you moved in. Play happy or soothing music. Bless your home. Start with that and see if this helps. Your ex may well have an attachment. Set an intention that nothing but goodness and light can cross your threshold. Maybe mark it with a cross. Keep a close watch on your kids.
