It may have been but many of the camels ended up in AZ! They still have camel races there, or did about 20 years ago. Huge BLM campground area there were I saw them. Can't recall the name at the moment.

an 81mm mortar has 10,000 lbs of recoil...... hope they take those off the camels before firing....lol.. (yeah i know, just being "cute"...)
