I first saw him a few months ago. I spent the night at my friend's house and because he had an early class he went to sleep before me. It was late and I was winding down for bed but I had not yet fallen asleep when I rolled onto my side and just so happened to look into the bathroom.
Standing in the doorway was a tall hooded figure (like a cloak that covered his head, not a hoodie). I felt like something was off, and that it was just a trick of the light so I tried to roll over (in all honesty I thought about switching places with my friend but realized that it was mean so I resigned to just turning away) when all of the sudden it appeared behind my friend. He made no sound but his energy was stronger. It felt like he wanted me to see him and know he was there. I was convinced that I was seeing things so I pulled the blanket over my head and went to sleep.
I spent the next night at the same friend's house and brushed the whole incident off when somehow the conversation got directed to paranormal stuff. He brought up that he saw a shadow man appear in a doorway that didn't exist. I hadn't told him about what I saw so it really freaked me out. We talked about how crazy it was and then moved on.
A few nights later I saw him in my room at home. It freaked me out so I turned on the light and he disappeared. Each time he would appear after that he would get closer and closer, and his energy felt darker and stronger. I never felt in danger because of him. He never spoke or made any noise. He also never touched me. It just felt like he was protecting me but that I had to know it was him protecting me. I began sleeping with the lights on because he kept getting closer.
I would feel him even when I couldn't see him. And it felt like he was getting angry with me for not looking at him. He disappeared.
When he was gone I heard tapping on the metal under my bed. Taps in threes which sounded like SOS in morris code. The energy coming from under my bed belonged to a little girl. I didn't see her so I don't know how I know, but I am sure it belonged to a little girl.
A few days after that, back in my dorm at school, something ran into my lofted bed while I was asleep causing me to wake up. I looked around but nobody else was in the room but the bed was rocking like someone was climbing up the end. I never saw anything though.
I think the shadow man has returned, but I haven't seen him. The energy of whatever the other two things were was a lot darker. I haven't seen him but I kind of want him to come back so I can figure out what he wants. I am pretty sure that he has no intention of hurting me but I want to figure this whole thing out.
