I'm guessing it's the "grounding" and conduction on this. This is one area of my life that I've been working with since a child and the only thing that has truly worked with it is to get myself calm and grounded. I cannot tell you how many laptops I've killed with this (although my son who works on them may have a count) and my family has threatened to just take out stock in lightbulbs over the years. It's kind of become a joke around here with the family because it happens so often. And when it gets bad, they won't let me touch anything electrical. Which is why I really really really work hard at staying grounded. Replacing these things costs a few bucks!Does the copper conduct the electricity or is it something more paranormal Debi?
The son who is my IT guy did change out my harddrive to a Solid State one and that helped, although we can never get a battery to hold a charge so I just have to work with it plugged in. I put my phone on the far side of my nightstand so I don't drain it and I only touch that for calls or texts. Before this most recent phone, I killed 6 phones in a year. No one could figure out why the things got scrambled. I didn't drop them or do anything to them.
I just have to take a lot of precautions not to blow anything up....lol
