I broke it...

Oh yeah and my heart, it's been broken so much from different reasons I doubt it can ever be healed

In 2013 while working on farm equipment in Louisiana, I broke the heel area of my right foot. airline fracture, never went to get it looked at, I tended to the matter myself. A few months after that healed, I broke my left foot :/ I was serving a 6 month sentence in Mobile county jail for a DUI. Yes I was guilty, no one got hurt. 1st offense, however I was from out of state and the Judge wanted her money. So 180 days. First time ever going to jail, Alabama knows how to get their money, After court and sentence and taken back to lock up, I was processed into a work program. They actually had me fill out an application for work :p I was placed on a landscape crew/ Festival crew. I worked Festivals on the weekends, worked 7 days a week cuz I was allowed outside from 6 am to 9pm, ate real food, could smoke cigarettes, for my work, 3 months instead of 6 as long as I didn't get into trouble. While working a Pecan Festival the crew was asked to move a extremely heavy "Deer Stand." Looked like a very tall wooden tower. 2 men on each corner. They dropped it on my left foot. And while I was screaming for them to get it off my foot they all just stood there like idiots :/ I worked on it broke for 2 weeks before they took me to get an x-ray. My inmate work supervisor thought I was faking :/ Upon x-ray, placed in cast and sent to the medical section. I was sooo mad. I still received all of my work credit and extra, my guess so I would sue them ;)
I was mad cuz for being in jail I was hardly there while working, eating real food not jail food, and smokes :p All that went bye bye in the medical section :( Alas getting out on dec 9th instead of dec 24th was a pleasant surprise. To this day I have issues with both feet :/
I'm sorry you went through all that, Ragz, but I'm really proud of you for turning your life around and becoming such a wonderful dad for Gyda now that she is in the world. Now, if I could convince you to give up those cigs...;)

I may have broken a few bones, but they weren't mine!

Okay, seriously now. For all the stuff that's happened to me, mountain biking, skateboarding, cage fights disguised as roller hockey, that time I was hit by a car, ect. I have never once broken or even fractured a bone. I never thought much about it and figured that bones are just that hard to break, or because I drink a lot of milk. However after having lots of friends and family get broken bones, and reading all the stories here it makes me wonder.

I really do drink a lot of milk but I don't think that's it. A while back I read about a rare genetic disorder that gives people greater bone density so their bones are heavier and are harder to break. The downside is that these people tend to sink in water, they cannot float like everyone else. Not saying I for sure have this but I've never broken any bones, I have a hard time swimming because I don't float very well, my BMI numbers always say I'm overweight even with relatively low body fat.

Am I a mutant? Like Wolverine but not as awesome; I'm more like Platypus.

That's pretty heavy for a first offence mate, sorry that happened to you.
All about the money ;) If I was a resident of Alabama, they would have released me fined me and I make payments. If they released me as an out of state resident and I didn't pay, they wouldn't pay to come get me, and wait until I was caught in the state again. Judge wasn't having that ;) :D
Can't blame her :)
