How America’s once great department stores became a dying breed

They sold their tool line (Craftsman) to Black & Decker and the tools are sold by Lowes mostly, I think.
Thank you for clearing that up. I knew one of the other chain's carried them now but got my stores mixed. Since I don't buy tools I need a guide on this stuff. lol

Electrical tools i will spend the money on. Basic stuff, i can cheat and buy cheaper sets.

Kind of miss the old 5 and 10 stores. Big department stores i miss the large Christmas catalogs. Way back when on Saturdays my mom would take us in to Philly, grab my grandmom and go shopping in some of the old school ones and always have lunch of our choice.
I remember shopping at the Five and Ten cent store with my mother, and then having lunch there. Patty melts!
