These beings seem far from being a Big Foot. Since there is a census registering a couple dozen of these people in the mid 1700s there is evidence that they are real. Weather they have magical powers is another matter which could be chalked up to legend or lore. I wonder if there is more physical evidence of this race and I wonder why they have disappeared or retreated from civilization.
