While studying Hubble Telescope data of white dwarf stars, astronomers recently stumbled upon a new discovery, a very faint galaxy 30 million lights years away. Named Bedin 1, the galaxy is relatively tiny at just 3000 light-years across and is also one of the most isolated structures of its kind. The above video shows how astronomers zoomed in on the galaxy from within a sea of stars. More info at Digital Trends.
