India university to teach doctors Ghost Studies

While Banaras Hindu University may not be outfitting its students with proton packs, they are showing them how to apply Ayurvedic techniques to their healing practices. Some disorders feel paranormal, so doctors are approaching them as being paranormal for the sake of their patients... or because it works.

The article included some pretty snarky responses. But one Doctor who was interviewed seemed pretty even-handed. I'll paraphrase. Severe and chronic mental conditions like depression should be treated with modern medicine and therapies. But more mild cases that affect the mind, heart and the soul - it's an open field.
