Atleast most of those guys (if not all) are all deep sea critters. You will never see one near the beach. When i was younger and reading about some of these, i always was fascinated by the ones that produced their own luminescence. Crazy stuff. But i guess being that far down in the depths, they adapted to their surroundings. Flashlight? Nah.
